Reader X Various Battle of Love Chapter 2 - Stay Arlert, there could be trouble!



“Prepare yourself!” Connie says, “for in this book lies all the answers you seek. However, it is a dark and dangerous place filled with disturbing secrets and untold horrors that could corrupt even the strongest of minds!” “Um Connie” you say looking at the bright pink book in confusion “that’s Jean’s diary.”


You and Connie sit on the rather messy bed that belonged to Jean. His area of the boy’s dorm was a general shambles, with clothes and bottles littered everywhere. The only thing you liked about Jean’s little corner was the smell, whatever deodorant spray Jean used was damn nice and you briefly wished there was a girls version. You looked at the bright pink book in front of you and read the big fancy gold letters scribbled on the front: ‘Jean’s diary, do not read.’ You give Connie another look on confusion, “how is reading Jean’s diary going to help me find out why the boys are after me in the way they are, I don’t get-” Connie made a bunch of hushing noises causing you to shut up and glare at him, he grinned widely before he spoke. “I know for a fact that Jean is in the thick of this so looking in his diary should be a sure fire way to find out what you want. Besides, what’s the worst that could happen?” You gulp at the last statement, who knows what dark and just plain weird things goes through the head of Jean Kirstein? Connie cleared his throat and flipped to a random page in the diary “well let’s get started then! We won’t know anything till we look, might take a bit of hunting around though...” You stare at him in horror “you don’t seriously plan to read off random pages do you? What if we read something, you know, private?” Connie just grinned at the thought “well we’ll stop and turn to a different page, don’t worry it will be fine, we’ll find the page were looking for in no time!”


“Dear Diary” Connie read. “Ok so I know for a fact I’m straight, I mean I wanna marry Mikasa because she’s just so beautiful and I think that (Name) is really damn attractive, I just can’t get her out of my head! However last night I had a really weird dream about Marco and it’s kinda got me puzzled. Marco’s one of my best friends I just don’t know what I’d do without him, however this dream is really confusing me because in the dream I was dating Marco. In the dream I dreamt that me and Marco had just been on a date and everything was all happy and cute, it was only when he came back to my place that things started getting weird. Things escalated quite quickly and it was only when me and Marco sixty-ni-”


“OK!” you scream “THATS ENOUGH!” Connie looked at you slightly disappointed “Oh come on! We were getting to the good part!” You glare daggers at him causing Connie to yelp in shock. “I don’t want to hear about Jean’s weird sexual fantasies! Just find the right page for god sake!” Connie just looks at you “It clearly says here that it was a dream not a fantasy” Connie replied, getting a pillow to the face in return. He laughs before returning to the diary, flicking it to a different page (hopefully this time the right one!) “Dear diary” he reads again “I noticed a lot of people are starting to pay more attention to (Name) lately and in truth it’s pissing me off. I’ve liked (Name) for ages now and the others know it, however they still keep making passes at her! Don’t they know she’s mine, I mean I liked her first! Today for example Reiner made a comment about her arse and Armin told her something really weird about jellyfish, it was kinda creepy now that I think about it. Anyway the rest of the guys noticed that we all kind of liked her so Reiner is holding a meeting tomorrow to see how we should approach this, I mean we can’t all flirt with her at once; her poor feminine mind won’t be able to handle it. Hopefully they will leave her alone and I can use some of my amazing pickup lines on her, I mean, she’ll practically be begging to get a taste of Jean after hearing them!”


You can feel the anger boiling inside of you as Connie finishes the next section of the diary. ‘Feminine mind?’ you think angrily to yourself, rubbing your knuckles together in rage at Jean’s sexist comment. ‘I’ll show you what a feminine mind can do you little prick’. Connie gives you a small smile of pity, “Hey, we can beat Jean up later let’s focus on this now though, I think the next page has what you want on it.” You signal for him to continue with a small nod and at that sign he starts to read another page of the diary. “Dear diary, after we talked a little about it Me, Eren, Reiner, Armin, Marco and Bertholdt decided on how we were gonna play things, and in truth it’s actually quite a good plan. We decided we’re going to take it in turns to hit on (Name), changing who is going to hit on her everyday till she decides on who she wants to get with (which we all know is gonna be me for sure). Starting tomorrow we put our plan into action. Eren’s going to have a go at her first, then Armin the next day, and then it’s going to be me and so on till every guy has had a go at wooing her. We will then repeat this till she picks me, which she will. In truth I’m kinda scared at what Eren will do, he can be quite intense sometimes and I fear for (Name)’s decency, hopefully it will be my turn soon so I can show her what I’ve got, I know she’ll fall for me in seconds if she hasn’t already.”


Connie finishes the page and looked directly into your eyes, searching for some kind of sign which will tell him how you feel about all of this. You looked back at him and spoke quietly with a hint of urgency, as if someone might overhear the conversation even though you were both alone. “Ok, well that clears up a lot. Eren practically shoved his tongue down my throat today so I think that this is Eren’s day, if that’s the case Armin’s going to try something tomorrow. If Jean keeps his diary updated we can find out who will try to get at me on the other days, that way I can avoid them if possible.” Connie nods in agreement “so that’s the plan then? Seems good, I’ll keep watch here in case anything happens.” You grin at the thought of having someone on the inside and suddenly the whole thing doesn’t seem so bad. “I’ll meet you tomorrow” you say and Connie nods again. “See you tomorrow.”


After one of the first decent night sleeps you’ve had in a long time you make your way down to the shower room in the early hours of the morning. You know most people are still in bed so the cue for the only private shower will be small or non-excitant, which will mean you can get done before everyone else in peace and plan out how to avoid Armin for the day. You see the shower has no cue so you go in, shutting the door behind you and placing your things on the rack. You undress and embrace the boiling hot water, letting it soak over your body and hair cleaning you of yesterday’s impurities. After you have washed your (h/l) (h/c) hair and cleaned your (s/t) body you step out of the shower and dry yourself off before you start getting dressed. You only manage to put on your panties when you hear the door go and you spin around in time to see someone step into the bathroom. Armin looks up in time to see you standing there, in only your panties, top half bare, skin steaming and hair dripping with a look on shock on your face. You stand there and stare at each other for a moment before you realize his eyes are fixed on your chest and you suddenly realize you have nothing coving it. You scream and grab a towel, rapping it protectively around yourself snapping Armin from his trance. He yelps and puts his hands over his eyes before turning to walk briskly out of the door smacking into it as he goes and almost falling over. You quickly run up to him grabbing him by the collar and throwing him out before slamming the door behind him. After you get changed you walked out of the bathroom face red with anger and embarrassment and head straight towards the now cowering blond. Armin looks up at you apologetically “I don’t mean it I swear! I normally use that bathroom in the mornings and normally no one’s up so I assumed it would be empty like normal, please don’t kill me.”


The sound of his trembling voice and the sorry look in his big blue eyes almost makes you forgive him, almost. “Well I heard that you would be trying to get my attention today” you say letting your anger spill out over the poor little blond. “And since Eren tried shoving his tongue down my throat yesterday, I thought that maybe you decided to be a little perv today, hm?” Armin shakes his head quickly “NO! I would never do that on purpose! I was going to offer to do all your chores today and make you tea and do anything you wanted! I swear! I wouldn’t dream of doing anything like this to you, I would never do anything to hurt you, I couldn’t live with myself if I did!” You soften at his words and let out a small sigh, how could you stay angry at him? He was like a little puppy. “Fine” you bark still slightly angry “but as a result from this ‘incident’ you have to do everything you just said for the next two weeks. You understand me?” Armin shakes his head rapidly “I understand! And I’m sorry that I stared at your breasts, they just looked really nice...”


All of your anger returns at Armin’s last statement and he quickly moves into the private bathroom, shutting the door behind him and locking it firmly. “I’ll do anything you want when I come out!” he says loudly his voice full of fear. “Just don’t kill me, please?”
